About Us

We are located in the Galleria area. Helena’s Wax & Spa is an eco-friendly full Day Spa. We offer a warm and inviting atmosphere decorated with soft soothing colors that compliment synergy bamboo wood flooring and stone and granite fixtures. The Spa is equipped with 13 relaxing treatment rooms, 4 pedicure and 3 manicure stations as well as Swiss shower with infrared sauna.

Our luxurious pedicure stations are custom built into beautiful cabinetry with cushions and pillows to create a relaxing and comfortable experience. We use soothing pipe-less reflexology pedicure bowls that are completely sterile. Manicure stations have been designed for maximum ventilation to promote a clean and relaxing environment.

A large 12 jet Swiss shower is available for use after a Steamy Wonder body treatment. Restrooms and lockers are provided for a convenient change into a warm, soft robe. Enjoy the peaceful and serene meditation room before or after any service.

About Helena

Helena’s Wax & Day Spa was founded by Helena. Helena was born in Governador Valadares, Brazil where she began making her own sugar wax at age 15. At this early age she used her homemade wax to remove unwanted hair for friends, family and herself.

This early experience laid the groundwork for her eventual career as an aesthetician. Helena customizes specially blended wax for a longer lasting results.

Helena moved to the United States in 1993. She worked in various retail sales positions before opening her own restaurant and retail store in Dallas.

After moving to Houston she decided to pursue her desire to become a licensed aesthetician. Upon completion of her certification Helena worked in several spas in Houston refining her specialized skills in waxing and facials.

After years of careful planning Helena’s Wax & Day Spa was opened in March of 2006. Helena is known for her professional, caring approach to all clients.
